Power line inspection for wildfire risk. Semantic segmentation and GIS data of transmission lines were combined on a on a 118 mega pixel RGB + near infrared image. The filters are smart enough to check for tree regrowth on a clear cut track while avoiding fully wooded tracks where the line is likely passing at a safe height. The site shown is in the Oroville State Recreation area south of the 2018 Camp Fire that killed 85 people and caused $16.5 billion in damage. Tree regrowth highlighted in red.
